Helenium may be upright, clump-forming annuals, biennials or herbaceous perennials with simple leaves and showy daisy-like flower-heads over a long period. Short and Sassy' is a compact, clump-forming perennial to 40cm high with lance-shaped leaves. Flowers borne from midsummer into early autumn comprise a dark brown central cone surrounded by orange to golden-yellow rays
