Crocosmia are deciduous cormous perennials with erect, sword-shaped leaves and branched spikes of showy, funnel-shaped flowers in summer. 'Emberglow' is a cormous perennial to 75cm tall, with narrow leaves and branched spikes of curved, funnel-shaped deep. 'Lucifer' is a perennial forming a clump of narrow, erect, mid-green, pleated leaves with sprays of vivid red flowers on stems to 1.2m in height
